AGYE × DATAMARS
Recognise the animal. Connect the right information.
An electronic ear tag carries a unique identifier. A compatible reader reads that identifier, and the software or machine links it to the animal’s record or programmed action.
The tag
Datamars Bovimars electronic identification is available in FDX-B and HDX technologies.
The reader
Portable readers and fixed antennas recognise tags at the relevant point in your work.
The equipment
Compatible feeders, milking systems, sorting gates or scales use the identifier to associate an action or measurement.
RFID is not the same as monitoring. A passive identification tag does not itself measure rumination or activity. Those functions require suitable monitoring sensors. Check FDX-B or HDX compatibility with every reader and machine.
MILK MEASUREMENT
SmartFlow: keep the measurement linked to the cow.
The milk meter measures milk production during milking. With suitable identification and management connections, the measurements can be associated with individual cows and reviewed over time.
SmartFlow milk measurement, milking control and the management interface have different roles. AGYE reviews your parlour, identification system and existing controls before proposing a configuration.

Nedap monitoring follows cow activity to identify behavioural changes associated with heat. Alerts and insemination timing guidance help organise reproduction management alongside your own observations.
Neck or ear monitoring?
Nedap SmartTags are available as neck and ear sensors. Choose according to your installation and required functions. An RFID identification tag alone does not replace a monitoring sensor: identifying an animal and analysing behaviour are different functions.
How should I use alerts?
The system compares current activity with the animal’s normal pattern. An attention indicates probable heat: review the information, check the cow and organise the intervention. Data transmission and system settings matter for monitoring.

What determines the price?
