Before choosing equipment.
Does monitoring measure milk quantity?
SmartTags monitor animal behaviour. Milk measurement uses dedicated equipment such as milk meters. Data can be associated according to available connections.
Can collars and ear tags be mixed in the herd?
Nedap provides for SmartTag Neck and SmartTag Ear in the same herd. AGYE helps you choose versions and check expected functions.
Is locating included in all sensors?
It depends on the sensor and installed infrastructure. We distinguish your monitoring, electronic identification and animal locating needs with you.
Do alerts replace observing cows?
They direct you towards animals to observe first. Observation and checking on the farm allow you to interpret the signal and decide what follows.
