Essential answers

Understand the solution.

What is the difference between ColostroMAT and ColostroFIT?

ColostroMAT is the treatment machine. ColostroFIT is the colostrum management system with its bags, filler and feeding accessories.

Does the machine replace a freezer?

The reserve is kept in separate refrigeration equipment. ColostroMAT and ColostroMAX treat, thaw and warm colostrum.

How long does pasteurisation take?

ColostroMAT documentation describes pasteurisation for 60 minutes at 60°C. Total preparation time depends on the programme and initial temperature. Settings and conditions of use are those specified in the manufacturer’s instructions.

How do I choose between the machines?

Start with the number of bags to prepare at the same time: two for MAT, four for MAX. AGYE also reviews your organisation and available space.
